I've been thinking of the schedule for the blog so that I can get worked more easily and so that the blog is easier to follow, and this is what I came up with:
Monday: Everyday Look (Introduction)
Tueday: Trends
Wednesday: Make up
Thursday: Fashion History
Friday: Collection Review
Saturday:Fashion & Culture
Every post will have a look according to the last trend mentioned (i.e. next week will be all about shorts).
Also about Fashion & Culture I'll talk about books and websites related to fashion; because I'm a fashion design student I buy many books about various subjects related to fashion: how to start a collection, fashion illustration, etc. I'll also talk about websites and blogs that I find useful and worth taking a look at.
And finally I don't know for sure if I will be able to post everyday but I'm going to try; no promises though...
Well, it's sunday night so it's about time to wrap things up.

Collection Review 01
Louis Vitton
Fall/Winter 2010/2011
Ready to Wear
Paris Fashion week
For good luck I thought that I should write something nice for my first Collection Review and that's why I picked the Fall/Winter 2010/2011Louis Vitton collection because I'm absolutly in love with it!
It's incredibly feminine, classy, elegant and sexy all at the same time. It has a touch of Christian Dior's New Look with the tight short coats and the skirts below the knee.
You can see just how good the collection is by looking at the pictures from the campaign that keepsappearing in the magazines:
(Am I the only one that's absolutely in love with the pictures from the ad campaign???)
I LOVE every freakin' thing about the collection. I know the collection got a few complaints about some of the outfits not being very flattering and the handbags... well, maybe I'm biased but I don't agree. I mean, how can a jacket that thight around the smallest are of you're torso and a rouded skirt that doesn't cling to you're butt or you're tighs be unflattering? It gives you the perfect hourglass shape! I'm just talking for myself (writing, actually) but that's the shape any woman should want!
And the dresses?! Oh, the dresses are absolutly perfect!

Sincerily, there really isn't much to say about this collection except: Awesome job Mark Jacobs and PLEASE keep up with the good work!
As a parting gift I'll leave you with some pictures from the catwalk.
(God, I wish I had more money...)

I didn't comment above about the handbags because personaly I don't care at all about handbags and I own just about one, so I was afraid I would sound biased, so judge for yourself:
Side note: Some of the models used both in the campaign and in the runway show were Victoria's Secret models, which I think it was a nice touch because unlike 90% of the models they, ladys and gentleman, have curves!
Trends 02
Another item that's very trendy this Fall/Winter are shorts!
The good thing about this piece is that everybody can wear because there's no much variety and different styles.
You can wear shorts with boots, sandals, sneakers, heels,... with just about anything you like.
This Fall/Winter shorts are the new jeans!

Everyday look 02
Tuesday
I didn't add the coat in this look because you can't see the clothes underneath. So, this would be worn with the same coat and the same boots I used yesterday.
Everyday Look 01
I changed my mind about the schedule I created last week. So instead of reviewing collections and runway shows I will present five or six looks built around the latest trend (does it make sense?).
So, throughout this week my looks will be all about coats.
I used H&M's feature called "Fashion Studio" on their website for two reason: one is easier for me to construct the looks and easier for you to see how they look in a person; the second reason was due to the fact that H&M is not a particular expensive store and that it's somewhat accessible to a lot of people.
Monday
As I was making this look I realised if I use different items everytime I create a new look well, it's not quite that unexpensive.
So, for a week I will recycle some clothing items such as the coat or the boots to make it more accessible. Because let's face it, unless you're quite wealthy, during a week you don't change you're coat and you're boots everyday...
So tomorrow, possibly, I'll be back presenting you the Tuesday's look and I will show you the latest trend.

Make up 01
Today I will talk about red lipstick. It's a feature that's never out of fashion and it represents power and sensuality in a woman.
There are thousands of different shades of red lipstick and you should be aware which ones looks better on you, considering several factores such as your skin tone, the occasions where you'll be wearing it, if it's long lasting and if it's easy to aply.
It's the perfect classical look that if done right never goes wrong on Hollywood.
I found this article in http://beauty.about.com/od/howtos/a/redlips.htm where it basically tells you everything you need to know.
There are also several tutorials in youtube that can be extremely helpfull if you're not used to wearing make up.
Here's some of my favourites:
Hope this was helpful and that you liked.

I know I wrote just a few hour ago that I wouldn't start the fashion blog today but I changed my mind.
So, now I present you the most essential item for this year Fall/Winter.
Coats
This year, a great coat is the number one piece in your closet. It could be any style you like. From military to a more 60s vibe.

Newborn post
Hi!
I created this blog so I can talk about all the things that are related to the fashion world.
Today's post, however, it's just to explain how I will try to manage this blog. I made a possible schedule, but it might be a little hard to stick to it because I don't know if I will be able to update eveyday.
The schedule is:
Monday: I will talk about fashion events, such as fashion weeks or other runway shows
Tuesday: Trens (it coul be make up, accesories, etc)
Wednesday: Music
Thursday: Make up
Friday: Designer's history ( I will pick one designer and talk a little about their life, their style, etc)
Saturday: I'll take a overall look of the week and maybe add a few things...?
As I said, I'm still not very sure of what I will talk about. If you have any ideas, or want me to talk about a subject that's not mentioned above please tell me.
Other thing, I'm portuguese so there might be a few mistakes when it comes to writing, if you find any please don't be shy and tell me, and I'll correct it.
I hope you enjoy my blog and I'll try to update it everyday
